BOENNIGHEIM, Germany (January 14, 2025) – Hohenstein has been a reliable partner for testing, certification and research for more than 75 years. With the start of 2025, management of the internationally recognized family business is reorganizing – for global growth and new business areas as well as stability, continuity and future success.
In January 2025, Prof. Dr. Stefan Mecheels will move from the operational management of the company to the Family Advisory Board. As a delegate of the Advisory Board, he will remain the direct contact for Hohenstein's management. He will be supported by representatives of the Mecheels family and three external businesses.

Hohenstein's reorganized top management will continue to fulfill this promise: Dr. Stefan Droste will take over as Chairman of the Management Board with Dr. Timo Hammer as his deputy. The extended management team also includes Armin Keicher (Head of Finance and Administration/CFO) and Dr. Markus H. Ostrop (General Counsel/Chief Human Resources Officer). Furthermore, Martin Cieslik has been appointed to the extended management team. As Global Head of Marketing & Sales, Cieslik will contribute valuable perspectives on international growth strategies.
